2. What personal data do we process?
We process the following data:
- Contact data: when you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, company and contact details, and the content of your message.
- Customer data: data related to managing the customer relationship, such as order, delivery and invoicing information.
- Website usage data: with your consent we collect statistics on site usage with Google Analytics (e.g. visitor numbers, pages visited, device type). The data is statistical and is not used to identify individual visitors.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
- Responding to enquiries and managing the customer relationship – legal basis: contract or pre-contractual measures, and the controller's legitimate interest.
- Fulfilling statutory obligations (e.g. accounting) – legal basis: legal obligation.
- Website usage statistics and site development – legal basis: consent, which you give in the cookie notice and can withdraw at any time.
4. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Data related to enquiries is retained for as long as required to handle the matter and the customer relationship. Accounting records are retained in accordance with the Finnish Accounting Act. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months.
5. Disclosure and transfers of data
We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. Data may be processed on our behalf by trusted service providers (e.g. IT and financial administration services) with whom appropriate agreements are in place.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA, in which case the transfers are protected with safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as standard contractual clauses. More information: Google's privacy policy.
6. Data security
Personal data is protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Access to the data is limited to persons whose duties require it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- know whether we process your personal data, and to access the data concerning you
- have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified
- have your data erased within the limits of applicable law
- restrict or object to the processing of your data
- withdraw your consent at any time (e.g. in the cookie settings)
- have your data transferred from one system to another when processing is based on consent or a contract
